Aerobics or gym what to choose
Contrary to appearances, the answer is simple. First of all, however, we should ask ourselves what we want to do for our body and then move on to action.
Aerobics is a typically female type of sports activity, although there is no shortage of men willing to do it. It is dedicated to people who want to lose a few extra kilograms, but at the same time slightly improve their condition. However, the gym is chosen by people who want to increase muscle mass and those who want to sculpt this mass. Of course, there are varieties of aerobics, in which small weights are used and thus successfully and here you can sculpt individual parts of the body.
The main difference between aerobics and gym is the nature of the exercises – dynamic or static. At the gym we perform static exercises, which allow us to build muscle mass exactly where we want it. One often hears that someone says “I’m going to shift weights”, which perfectly illustrates what you do at the gym. Exercises with load, thanks to insulating techniques, will make you develop first of all those muscles on which you will focus.
In the case of aerobics, we are dealing with dynamic exercises that will result not only in a general development of all muscle parts, but also in an improvement in physical condition.
An unquestionable disadvantage of aerobics is that you have to adjust your time to the schedule of classes, while you can come to the gym at any time. There are even clubs operating 24 hours a day.
So, depending on what you have an idea for your own figure, you can choose only aerobics or gym, but there are no contraindications to combine both these options – people who would like to lose a few pounds and at the same time highlight certain muscle parts should attend both the gym and aerobic classes.
